Hello!
It’s been pretty quiet on our Blog lately. This is something we want to tackle because we love to read interesting content and updates on other Developer Blogs as well.
DELETR is released since more then one Month and has found a few special places in some of our players hearts. We hold 18 Reviews with 5 Stars in average across the Appstore. We even got a Fan-Email which was a truly great thing and put a big smile on our faces.
Here are two Appstore Quotes:
“★★★★★ – I’m not a big fan of puzzle games… – … but I’m loving DELETR because of its simple, straightforwars rules which make it approachable and enjoyable to normal human beings like me. Design and music are super sleek.”
“★☆☆☆☆ – Annoying. Turns off your music for no reason during play (sound isn’t part of gameplay), nags about rating the app.”
Even though the Feedback in general was really great, we never got enough exposure to really make any Money on the Game. With 1500 Downloads we haven’t even touched the Top 250. Exposure is still our biggest problem and with every new App, we try to make the whole Marketing-Part better and better. But still, if you read this and liked our Game, don’t hesitate to contact your friends and tell them about our Game!
Meanwhile we are working on several things. We entered the Stencyl Jam 2013 with a small concept that we made at a local Game-Jam. It’s a pretty interesting Puzzle Platformer Concept for the iPhone that is entirely controlled by swipes. When the Jam is over we definitely want to make a Full-Game out of it.
Additionally we are working on our Interactive-Story which gets better and better. A lot of work is done and we are close to entering the polishing phase. Right now we are looking for a great Music-Artist to help us out.
We will give some further updates in a short while, promised!
This sums up what we are up to right now. Arnold will visit the Berlin based AMAZE-Indieconnect Festival this week and tries to raise the awareness of Tinytouchtales and the great Games that we have to offer!
We are super happy to meet some nice fellow developers and also the heavyweight Indie-Stars JW and Rami from the dutch Studio Vlambeer!
We try to update the Blog more frequently with smaller updates!
Best
Wiebke & Arnold
