2013 was an awesome year for Tinytouchtales!
We started in January with the art for Katrin’s colorful Moonstory and our Puzzler Matchagon, which got released in the middle of March. A few days later the first prototype for Zuki’s Quest was made in an 48h Game-Jam. 5 Month later we released Katrin’s colorful Moonstory. Immiedieatly afterwards we focused our energy on Zuki’s Quest, which we released as the 5th iOS Project in the middle of November.
Looking at some numbers, the total downloads of all our Games combined is a little over 160.000. With Zuki’s Quest as number 1 with 105.000 and Matchagon as 2nd with 46.000 (both free), Katrin’s colorful Moonstory had 2100 downloads.
Keeping in mind that our monetization is not yet up to the speed it could be (read our Post about Zuki’s Quest), we still belive that we made some cool Games and will work on them even harder in 2014.
One big thing for Tinytouchtales in 2014 will be Arnold’s change from being a freelancer at a big Casual-Games company to working 100% on Tinytouchtales from tomorrow on. This is a big step, but we are confident with getting a little bit more time to work on Tinytouchtales Games, that we will be able to start a business that will actually pay our rent.
For those who haven’t seen it yet: we released a Version of Zuki’s Quest for Android which you can get in the Google Play Store. Additionally if you haven’t tried it yet Matchagon is available for Android too.
So what do we have planned for 2014?
We are always working on several things at once and therefore we have several prototypes in our virtual pocket, that could turn into a game. We already started working on one of them and there will be some familiar faces, so stay tuned for the reveal post. Additionally we are looking into a collaboration with one of our old colleagues from University!
We hope you had an awesome year too and will have an awesome 2014!
